Losing KK to that offer sheet was a sad day for Montreal. Dvorak just wasn't it.

Well played Carolina. Well played.

Brady wasn't drafted in 2022

This also assumes that had the Habs drafted Brady, they would have finished in the same positions to draft the same players in subsequent drafts

The best player would have been Hughes (Tkachuk is still great but Hughes is better)

I like how both teams messes that up, terrible drafr pick, terrible trade, terrible contract. All very funny

That buffoon Holland had to take Zadina over Hughes.

I think the best for you guys would have been Hayton. With Hughes, Yzerman wouldn’t have drafted Seider

This is debatable. Both are great but Tkachuk was a 23 y/o PPG powerforward unicorn with the HIGHEST ixG/60 in the whole NHL the last 3 years.

If you look at hockey sources re-drafts, Tkachuk is often ranked higher...

Brady is great no doubt. The clear #3 OA to me ahead of Svech

But Hughes has the highest PPG out of all players from that draft despite being a dman. He also has above average defensive metrics (better than Dahlin has). In my opinion he’s closer to #1 than he is #3 in a redraft

Yeah debatable as I said, these 4 guys (Tkachuk, Svechnikov, Dahlin and Hughes) will be in a ferocious battle for the Top-4 IMO.

One argument would be that Hughes gets a lot of these points on the PP, sure it's very valuable but has to be taken in consideration. Tkachuk had 54 ES pts last season, Hughes had 41

Sure he's a D-man but like Karlsson, ultra offensive
