Stop the foolishness. There is no rumour, just a bad post. How could anyone assume an extension. As knowledgable fans know, extensions NEVER happen in the situation Leafs and Nylander are in.

And i realize this isn’t your ACGM, so i know I’m asking the wrong person here, BUT….

This ACGM is titled “Zegras Rumor”
And then has him being traded to the Leafs for Nylander
So it either implies that’s the rumor, or AT THE VERY LEAST, that there’s some connection with Zegras going to Toronto

Apparently Verbeek only wants to give him about half that,
so it is reasonable to think he could get traded

What isn’t reasonable, is for the OP to act like the rumor connects the Leafs somehow
