Would be a great team but SJ could never retain that much for 7 years. Grier would be fired before year 1 completed lol

If salary has to be moved out, guys like Noesen, Lemieux, Jones, Coghlan, and even Chatfield would be moved prior to Fast.

Just making that slight change with one of the players I listed above, I don’t mind how that ultimately shakes out.

Hertl may be an off-season option if he doesn’t want to ride the bad times. Maybe he makes that decision at the deadline. We would have to move out 2 million or so to make the deal work without retention.
