i think manson still serves a purpose, as we need some physicality too. He was huge when we won the cup, i don't think he's as bad as he was in the few games in playoffs last year, i don't think he was healed and to jump into playoffs after not playing for half the season is tough. I donno if we need to target another puck moving d man since the pipleine is filled with them.

Looking at that blueline group above it definitely lacks size without Manson and JJ, and with Behrens added. Makes it seem logical to move Girard instead.

It all hinges on Toews and what happens with him. Imo you have 3 top line caliber dmen and fill around them with lower priced specialty role players ala the 01 Cup team, who those 3 are beyond Makar is up for debate.

I could see NSH moving on from Fabbro. Trading him for an older, injury prone, much more expensive replacement is a hard pass though.

A 2nd and a B prospect (or a 3rd/4th instead in COL's case, given that they don't have many prospects in their system right now).
