I like it! Maybe put a condition on that 1st rounder that could change to a 2nd if Tanev doesn't perform or the buds dont make the playoffs or something like that.

as a canucks fan, this trade is very even. if that was to happen (which it won't cuz benning is too scared to do so) than i would be the happiest man on earth. out of happiness i would prob eat my poo or something. Very realistic!!!

Having made similar trade proposals to the leafs and getting the old "no way tanev for even kappanen happens let alone a 1st and kap" from leafs fans it brings me great joy to see someone isn't that out to lunch.

With the addition of wiercioch and del zotto, it makes one of the defenders expendable if need be. Benning would want a d guy coming back "he says" so drop levio and throw in carrick and that could work.
