Yep as why rush the kid might get a game or two then sent back to juniors

No point in moving a 20 goal good depth piece to make room for Cowen who yes has looked good but I dont see playing a whole season

Aren't Leaf fans being selfish?. They feel they HAVE to get rid of Jarnkrok for cap reasons, but usually have no appreciation of other teams cap or Jarnkrok's M NTC.

I just hope they only give Cowan a 9 game trial cause calle cannot play on the 4th line for the whole season

His value is actually excellent. 20 goal scorer who can play the penalty kill for 2.1 million is pretty good, he's playing on the fourth line but really is a 3rd line player.

If they retain him and sell at $1.05m x 3….could get good pick or two from contender.

Other teams don't usually have 4 superstars upfront along with 2 other fairly decent stars in Domi and bertuzzi so for me I assume other teams would have a $2M spot for jarnkrok but at this point I think he's staying he can go ahead and play from line 1-4 maybe defense at this point you never know so definitely would be a loss and only based on money but if they keep him then let's go!!!!

It would make me nervous since they traded Lafferty and didn't sign Gregor off the PTO so let jarnkrok just jump the boards on whatever line he feels comfortable and he's definitely very useful even more now so it's cap gymnastics again but it's all good
