Interesting proposal, with Macewen on waivers, my guess is that the injury is short term.

Trade may not be needed here. Guenette can step in from Belleville.

If the injury is short term and there is no cap relief, then the deal would still solve the cap dilemna tho? Cant wait to see Pinto dress this year

If he is willing to sign for 2 Mil then yes it does. The Sens could also just trade Kubalik straight up for a late round pick.
