If it needs more juice, that's fine. Also, get the division take. Walstrom is the kind of player who'd fit well on a line with Panarin and Chytil or Mika. Maybe Laf will break out this year with what seems more top 6 ice time with Laviolette but he seems not the same player on RW.
Heres the thing with all the laf trade offers, not just this one.
Laf is a top 6 winger, on a less than 3m a year deal for this and next year.
The rangers are in win now mode with almost zero cap space.
You want a top 6 player, you need an offer that replaces that players production, while also giving us an incentive to move the player, in case they break out.
So to acquire Laf it would need to be, a top 6 player making less than 3m a year (for multiple years) + an A prospect and likely a first.
Which is gonna meet alot of derision for that amount, but its likely what it would take to move him, especially when it looks like he's finally getting a legit shot.
