Only way I see Hoglander getting moved is either for an overpay or for a young RHD

What assets would be in the overpay?

I'd say either a pair of 2nds or a late first, Vancouver is still really high on him the cost won't be cheap to acquire him

That makes sense. What about a 2026 2nd (I know, not super enticing but I have doubts PIT would be willing to trade the 2024 pick), 2025 and 2026 third rounders, and a low end player or prospect (maybe Johnsson or Ty Smith). Would that get a deal done?

I don't think so imho, the picks are nice but a bit far out Smith Is an okay piece but really isn't a need for us we have a log jam at the left side of defense. I think it would have to be 2024/25 picks as we'd be flipping them for a young RHD

It would have to be a 1st + to pry him out. He was a 2nd rounder but has far exceeded expectations. He is top 15 in his draft class in points
