wow caps in major cap trouble. grubauer burakovsky rfa deals 4.656m left to sign back up at least 2 forwards and 2 defensemen. some one has to go. 7 players with 4.7m round it up. grubauer and burakovsky will prob get that much between them. so that leave 5 player will 0 cap available. 3 entry level forwards and 2 entry level dmen still min 3m one of 3 players is prob gonna have to go orpik eller or johansson to get under cap max. so that will mean another player one the cheap. cant wait to see how this will play out.

It should've been Orpik. I don't care about what his leadership is in the locker room, we lost in the playoffs. Time for a change. We should've traded him and used the money to sign someone like Daley. Let Djoos and Bowey take huge steps forward, let Orlov continue to grow, keep as many of the forwards as possible, let Vrana get a better look, and we should've been all set. But we had to give Kuzy a mega contract because of his KHL leverage, and GMBM traded the wrong guy. There is no way that Johansson is more expendable than Brooks Orpik. Absolutely no way.
