Jack Eichel: Tuch, Krebs, a 1st that year and a second the next year. VGK pick was a lottery pick that year. And Petey has more value today than Eichel did then, because while both are PPG players, Eichel had the uncertainties with his neck surgery. So that merits the difference here.

Lmfao that return is not even close

Pettersson is much better offensively than Eichel and also plays Selke level defense. Combine that with what you said about Eichel’s situation with his neck at the time and Pettersson easily gets a better return than Eichel

Which is why this is a better return lmfao Way better.

Guhle hasn't been good at an NHL level. He has potential but even calling him a 2nd pairng dman is generous at this point in his career

Oh he easily is a 2nd pairing D and he absolutely has been good. Don’t speak on players you haven’t watched enough of. You don’t get to pretend to have an informed opinion when you don’t. So go back to bed and let the adults who know what they’re talking about speak.

His metrics suck and he's raw. On a decent team he's playing very sheltered bottom pairing minutes

Dach is a middle 6 winger

Yet again, don’t speak on players you don’t watch. Anaheim doesn’t even want to ice Zegras he’s so bad in his own zone. An absolute liability, but some teams are okay with that. Just not Anaheim. They’re not going to get a haul for him, but Vancouver would love to have him.

Dach finished 290th in 5v5 points last year among forwards. He can't win draws and most of his production came as a winger alongside suzuki and caufield, and then he tore his ACL. You ain't getting your money back on that investment

Krebs was still a really highly valued prospect at the time of the deal. Ranked 26th by the Athletic at the time

No nhl scouts or GM’s read Scott Wheelers stupid articles. That’s one man’s opinion. He was never that highly touted. Always viewed as a top 6 forward, never as a star, (even by the “athletic” and his value only went down post draft.

Yet again, uninformed but still speaks as if he is. This isn’t 1980 anymore. Torn acl means nothing. He will come back just as strong as he was. Modern medicine is a wild concept I know.

Zegras >> Tuch
Krebs = Guhle
2nd <<< 1st

Zegras is a great starting point but the Canucks need at least one other high end piece if they were to move Pettersson. You’re talking about acquiring a top 5-7C in the whole league. Those types of players are very rarely available so you’d have to give up a return that would really hurt to give up

Zegras >>>>>>> Tuch
Guhle >>>>>> Krebs

Which of those things were untrue?

He was 290th in 5v5 points among forwards: true
He can't win draws: true
He got most of his production alongside caufield and suzuki: 21/38 points they were involved in.
He tore his ACL: true

Prospect for prospect they were close to equal maybe. But Krebs as a prospect vs what Guhle is now and is becoming… (Krebs will be a bust). It’s not even close. GM’s and coaches would salivate at the thought of getting Guhle. Their wet dream. We got 13th overall for Romanov who will never be half the player. Imagine Ghule oh my god.

Romanov was playing quality NHL hockey at 21, Guhle was not

First I have to explain modern medicine to you and now I have to explain the concept of potential? This is a new low even for cap-friendly users lol.

You’re talking about a 20 year old. This is a strange concept I know, but players don’t hit their prime until they’re around 24-25 years old. In the mean time they show you what they can be until they put it all together, something Dach started to do last season, and was doing this season until he got injured. He’s an animal. Drives play like crazy. Underlyings numbers are off the charts. Makes everyone he plays with better. I remember when idiots like you viewed Nichushkin like this lmao. Some people never learn. Now don’t make me explain modern medicine.

I’m not even surprised you’re this clueless. I get it, you don’t watch these players, what does surprise me is that you think you know them. It’s mind blowing.

It was fun chatting with you boys though I’ll mute this now, don’t have the time for it, plus I just don’t respect you guys enough to keep this convo going. Hey I have a challenge for you though. Get informed on players before speaking on them. Hell watching them is a tall task for you guys I get it, so screw it, just do a Google search and read a few articles or something. That’ll at least help

Kirby dach is nearly 23 years old and will probably be 24 before he plays hockey again

They get the most valuable player in the trade. You think Vancouver is walking away with a Zegras, Reinbacher and potential top 5 pick in a Pettersson deal?? Bro no trade in history has ever been that rich lmao

The Lindros trade. The Nordiques got a top flight prospect in Peter Forsberg, an at the time decent #1 goalie in Ron Hextall, an at the time quite good defenceman in Steve Duchesne, a few role players, two 1st round picks, and some cash.

Are they the same things? 'Course not. But the Canucks value Pettersson to an extent that might come close.

Follow your own advice and stop saying stupid **** because you look like an idiot. None of what you’ve said about Zegras is even close to true.
