Just learned this myself but if/when you want to send a link, use that chain link option above beside Bold Italicwhen originally posting, add a title and input the site/link there so we can just click it and don’t have to copy & paste: Fresh Start for Two

Looks good both ways, But I don't see the Flames doing this unless Willie is pre extended before coming over for around Hubby money. Instead of say having him click with say Lindholm and Hubby and raising his price from 9.5-10.5 to over 11+

Not even close. A player that wants out...fast and a mediocre big money goalie signed for another 3 years.

Imagine what you would call something who posted drivel like this in one of you usual rants.🤔

I know I've said it before in your posts, but I just don't see the Leafs trading Nylander without getting something up front in return that is at least in his ballpark. They are weak up front beyond their stars, they can't just trade one like this ....

That said, and, sorry, totally unrelated, I compiled a list of players I think the Flames should keep for their future, or at least keep to try out still for their future (doesn't include non-signed guys, only contract guys here).. everyone else being on the table as veteran trade bait, or as futures options. Full rebuild.

G Dustin Wolf -- D Jeremie Poirier, D Ilya Solovyov, D Yan Kuznetsov, maybe maybe also D Brady Lyle

L Jakob Pelletier, L Samuel Honzek, L Lucas Ciona, L Parker Bell -- C Connor Zary, C Adam Ruzicka, C Adam Klapka, C Ben Jones -- R Matt Coronato, R Walker Duehr, R Martin Pospisil

Vets with term I'd add to the list of keepers for at least this season. Mangiapane, Coleman, Weegar, Andersson and maybe Sharangovich. I'd try convincing Zadorov to extend and keep him too. Those players aren't the problem. I'd prioritize moving Backlund, Hanifin and if possible Markstrom (the last remnants of the old rotten leadership core) over everyone else. I'd move Tanev too though in his case it's because of age, injury history and good trade value.

Fair enough.. perhaps Weegar, at least, would be more affordable for teams in a year or two as the cap rises, despite the extra age. But I see Andersson getting a pretty big return, if Conroy does it right. Dolla signs in me peepers!
