i think this is pretty realistic. Zadorov's agent is hinting a trade to Toronto. Id like him here. only makes sense if Klingberg goes the other way. klingberg has that offensive mindset that calgary has been needing, even if he didn't rly find that in TOR.

id love to see Tanev be a leaf as well. arguably the best defensive Dman in the league atm but i dont see the money working unless someone like bertuzzi goes the other way and i dont see him waving his NMC for calgary

i hope they give Timmins a look. he'll be healthy before timmy lilly. at leat give him a few games to showcase him and trade him for picks.

with timmins, id see the d lines being:

44-78
22-Timmins
55-Zadorov/Kingberg

i also hate reaves and i want him gone

I'm going to guess Zadorov is traded for more than a 5th.

Klingberg doesn't bring any value in this trade.

You have to give Calgary a reason to trade Zadorov. They're not giving him away for nothing despite what 99.67% of Leafs CFACGMs tell you. LOL

Leafs aren't the only team interested. Flames might take Klingberg to make the money work. But they'll want something of value coming back.

Otherwise they'll keep him. Conroy is the Flames GM. Not Zadorov's agent.

It's wishful thinking on your part. You want your team to get a need but don't want to give up anything of real value.

And you'll justify it by stating your opinion as fact. Trades in real life don't work that way. You give to get.

He's a pending UFA that was going to be traded anyway. That's being overlooked. I doubt the Flames were surprised or really care.

If Conroy does this right, Zadorov will go for more than he's worth because thats what happens with physical D at the deadline

Connie's first trade for Sharangovich has yet to pan out. He can't lose a trade to Brad. Ownership may be restricting trades with Brad, they petty.

Calgary's season is still on life support, they need shooters, Robertsons probably Brads bait to Conroy.

If anything happens soon, I expect that to be the meat of a trade no one will like.

His agent requested a trade because Calgary stopped extension talks. Zadorov has zero trade protection and lots of intangible value to contending teams. An offer this crap will be instantly directed to spam mail by Google's auto sorting system
