At that price I don't mind Hanifin to NJ, but if a goalie is available I'd rather use the first there

Note that the 2024 1st will have to become a 2025 1st if the Meier condition (conf final) is met

Flames will get more selling then separately and/or at the Deadline. It’s a lot of quantity, but nothing of much quality

If that’s the best deal available for Lindholm, so be it, but we don’t want/need Boqvist. We’d need/want guys like Bean, Texier and Peeke more

That’d be selling very low on Hanifin, that’s what Zadorov should get, not what Star Hanifin will get, especially if it’s on a Sign & Trade, in which, NJD wouldn’t be the right team to move Hanifin too

CBJs not giving up a first.

Don't over complicate the Toronto deal, just give up two firsts.

Conroy has an obligation to get good value for his assets and should trade with Treliving if its the best offer.

However, retention, taking back contracts, that stuff will really drive up the price. I highly doubt Conroy is enjoying dealing with the mess he was left with.

Dump contracts and balance your cap through an impartial broker.

It looks like a really good deal but it's also a lot of work, dealing with all those midling assets.

Highly unlikely that Toronto geta 2 of the Flames defenseman. Especially if they are retaining on both and taking on a cap dump.

Hanifin return feels light

Tanev and Zadorov aren't getting anywhere close to that kind of return.

If that's the best offer Conroy can get for Elias Lindholm, he should be fired ASAP Boqvist can't even stay healthy. Sillinger hasn't proved anything. Unless the 2024 1st is top 3 lottery pick. The deal is pretty bad.

Smith and a late 1st and 2nd is a pathetic offer for Noah Hanifin. Detroit has been heavily linked to Hanifin and would easily beat that pathetic offer.

The whole point was to not add 2 firsts that’s why there’s so many picks and prospects

Clearly you and one other person thinks that this is a great return and I think it’s what happens a person on this post said tanev and zadorov don’t bring in anywhere close to that offer the only reason this trade hasn’t been finalized is because the leafs haven’t offered it yet and I could see them accepting it I could even see them accepting it minus a 3rd lol seen several Calgary fans sell both for far less and I’ve seen tanev going to Toronto for klingberg and a 1st no 3rds several times too

So what!? Did they justify their statements or did they just feel that way and say “Trust Me Bro” 😎

You know how many Trolls come on here and set up a new account, saying they’re CGY Fans and only pitch Weak Trades to benefit their actual Favourite Team!?

We’ll take Klingberg back in Trade, but not because we value him, but because we would gain further assets doing so. Please understand can Trade Tanev without taking a negative value = cap dump back

You want to pay a 1st for Zadorov with no retention, yeah we might take Klingberg back in that instance, but we’d still try to get Abruzzese thrown in (or made part of the real) or Timmins/Benoit/Lajoie instead

No and I don’t care there’s 5 flames fans that think their players are Norris calliper defenders you're one of them and then the other 95% have some common sense and don’t try to hose everyone

Calgary's ask would be two firsts and Minten, there's no way you negotiate below two 1sts.

You seem a bit cranky today Bud

Why do TOR Fans always make up or exaggerate what Flames Fans say or get upset and throw tantrums when they don’t hear what they want to!? It’s embarrassing to the rest of us Canadians

If you don’t think Tanev is a Norris Caliber D-Man, you’re off your rocker. He’s one of the Best Shut Down D-Man in the League and was just nominated for the Trophy a little over a season ago lol. Why else do you consistently insert him at 1RD

I mean Brodie’s good defensively too, but it’s been almost a decade since he’s been in any Norris conversations

Zadorov is nowhere near as good Defensively as Tanev or Brodie, but he’s substantially Bigger, More Intimidating and a Better Offensive Contributor than Brodie is now or Tanev ever was. You wouldn’t need to insert Dead Weight Reaves in to the lineup anymore with Zadorov on the Team

You clearly want both of them for a reason, posting trades for them each and every day and not targeting anybody else and have been doing a decent job of not completely under valuing them like @RipNasty or @MoSeider53 here, so why deviate from that and be inconsistent. That really starts to question your credibility in my eyes friend

Watch and See Mo

And what happened to DET having no need or interest in any LD’s. I seem to remember every DET Fan saying they have THE BEST LD Pipeline, Depth and Upcoming Prospects in the League!?

Remember when y’all said Marco Kasper was NHL Ready too??? My have times changes. Yzerman’s one of the Top GM’s but he should have brought back a lot more for Hronek, he sold low on him

Lindholm swap had a cap dump attached…Moore had two years remaining so he took up a big chunk of that return.

Lindholm = 1st, 2nd
0 = Moore, Vaak, 2nd

Gavrikov had Korpisalo attached as well as Quick cap dump…so his comp value is likely well below 1st+3rd.

Gavrikov = 2nd
Korpisalo = Quick/2nd

Also Lindholm > Hanifin > Gavrikov…so it’s probably between the two.

I am going to stick to…
- Hanifin ~ 1st + 3rd
- Tanev ~ 2nd + 3rd
- Zadarov ~ 3rd

Yeah, according to some idiot named @Kinger25

Why don’t you ask him to justify and support his reasoning for that valuation…. Obviously that’s his opinion and how he feels, but who is that guy and what on earth makes him credible or has he ever provided to make him credible at all/whatsoever
