I would probably do this as a Habs fan, even though I'd like to hold Barron at higher value. Nice Job

Not sure if Edmonton feels the same lol

If Montembeault is willing to sign in Montreal, I think the return is a tad low. Holloway has potential, but does it really offset the value that Montembeault could provide by backstopping the Habs during the rebuild? I am genuinely asking... And trading a right-handed D is suboptimal given our relative weakness on that side.

To make the cap work and increase the return for the Habs, we could take Campbell with 33% retention (keep him in the AHL), and Oilers add Bourgault and probably another pick. But that's becoming quite the blockbuster...

Why trading one of your few RD player and one that have good potential ? Montreal have alot of LD that could be use as trade ship asset but not the RD.

If Montreal trade one goaltender, I would say that it would be Allen as montembeault fit more your core and timeline. Don't think Primeau would be the Savior for Edmonton so he would be taking Allen place to backup Monty.
