Josh Anderson isn't "snakebitten". He straight up sucks and is a top 10 worst contract in the league

That's what I'm saying, he would fit in well in Pittsburgh

This could have had a greater than 1% chance of happening if Hextall was still the GM. No chance it happens now.

zero chance the Habs retain on Anderson. A deal revolving around Anderson and Rakell would be interesting, but I'd be assuming MTL would be adding.

Would have to be Anderson++ for Rakell. Man just came off of a 60 pts season. He's had a slow 17 games, doesn't mean he is a cap dump. Lets get real here.

completely agree. I'm assuming this wouldn't be a mid season trade, more in the off-season and Rakell's struggles continue. But I do remember way back when, when Anderson was still with CBJ, that the leafs had interest in him. So it's not out of the realm of possibility that Dubas would be interested in switching his "problem child" in Rakell for MTL's "problem child" in Anderson. but yeah, way too early to even determine that with Rakell yet.

You may be right about Hextall, but I can't see Dubas being that much better. He left the Leafs pretty barren with futures with his foolish trades which resulted in just one playoff round win.

As neutral fan, gee I really don't like some of those Pens term contracts for players 30 plus years of age. Seems like a lot of middling or worse years ahead especially when the future pipeline is pretty bare.

Pretty unfair. Toronto has had great drafting and before the deadline last year they had plenty of draft futures. By all accounts the moves at the deadline and the aggressiveness was Shanahan's decision not Dubas. Infact it's part of the reason Dubas pushed for more power.

I do. Pens haven't won a playoff round in I believe six years. Finished out of the playoff last season. are out of the playoffs as of now.
Are you saying Pens are in a "Cup window"?

So forget what Dubas and the pens organization says/thinks.

The great Palhal has returned from his ban to inform us this team is actually NOT in a cup window.

Thanks bud.

Seriously communities like this get destroyed by people like you. There is a reason the mods and CF owners want you gone.

You really think the Pens are true Cup contenders? Pens fans don't, 95% of hockey fans don't But if you think they are, good for you and the Pens.
