I dunno, getting their own 2025 1st back means, very likely, another mid-1st round pick .. Anderson is dead weight in my opinion, and Armia too. Even though Huberdeau is making 10.5, there are far, far better returns to be had for both him and one of the Flames best D prospects. Plus, let's just wait and see how Huberdeau does now that he's doing a little better playing with Backlund.

It's a definite no from my perspective.

The one thing that's on the Flames side here, is time. They don't *have* to trade Huberdeau. But if they did, his value right now would be absolutely terrible. The last couple of years of that contract were always going to stink, now GMs are wondering if it's not already way too much to pay for this contribution.
