I’d probably guess you could get more for Eberle retained than that unless he’s fallen off this season.

My initial thought was a 1st and 3rd, but thought that might be a bit too much for a player whos contract expires at seasons end

Initially I was gonna go with a 2nd, but Seattle has to take a contract back to make it work financially, so I added a 3rd to Seattle's offering for the upgraded 1st

Yeah and what makes u think Seattle would get Brett kulak for free if anything Seattle has to pay for kulak he’s easily the best player in this trade

Hmm not sure how well the acquistion of Eberle would go down in the Colorado dressing room.

Caps are set with their middle 6. Only players they are adding are young top 6 players.

Avs don't like trading 1st round picks, so i am guessing this is a no - not sure what we could offer in place of a first.

Just keep his stall away from LOC and Cogliano

I was thinking more for their playoff push, assuming they make it. With Backy hitting LTIRetirement, I figured they'd potentially be in need of some center depth

COL isn’t trading a 1st for rental they just don’t do it.

I think a second would be a bit high for Wennberg, but doable for some teams. That team just won't be Washington, since the current center core of Strome-Kuznetsov-Lapierre/McMichael-Dowd has played pretty well this year. If Washington is in a position to buy at the deadline, I think it will more likely be for a top line forward with term or a defenseman. If DC is smart, they could also help in the Eberle or Schultz trade as a double retainer for a small pick, probably a 4th or a 5th.

The last thing the Kings need is more RHD.

They are pretty deep at center with Strome, Kuz, McMichael, Dowd then Lapierre and Protas also cetners. I don't mind adding Wennberg just not for a 2nd. I'm sure another team will though.

2nd is fair for Wennberg but the caps are the last team that needs another pretty good third line guy lol

I could see Edmonton being interested in Driedger, but that's way too rich for that. There will be other just as capable goalies if not better available for less.
