Please no. If anyone move MAF, keep Gus and call up Wallstedt. easiest solution

then keep MAF and call up Wallstedt lol.

And I am sure MAF waives to a team of his choosing to be in the room on one last run. 50% retention makes him very affordable

If Gustavsson isn’t the long term Goalie (and goalies are weird and streaky, I wouldn’t judge his value on this years performance) then I would agree move him but not for another goalie! Bring up Wallstedt and have him learn under Fleury!

Gustavsson to Oilers actually seems like a smart move for the Oilers and Min could use this bad year to get Wallstedt experience so he can be the 1A next year with a vet like Fleury or Anderson/Allen/ Rantta/ Reimer Etc. as the 1B

Hey if MIN pay a 2nd for Allen with no retention... I'd be ok taking MAF too. Would be cool to see him in a Habs uniform to finish his career, and if MIN aren't in a playoff spot either, I don't see why he wouldn't waive to go to MTL for 20ish games....

Oh I’m cool with it too… but I think he has the NMC because he doesn’t want to have to uproot his family again but yeah if he was willing it’d be a cool storyline. Doesn’t do much for our 3 goalie situation in MTL though…
