lmao at the idea you get a first and an exciting young player for Huberdeau, regardless of how much you retain.

I'm alm for the "blow it up" thought experiment here, but the valuations are all over the map. Why is Huberdeau and Kadri's returns so much higher than Lindholm Hanifin and Markstrom?

Absolutely

What would it actually cost to get Lindholm though?
And should we really do it (& give him the contract he wants) when we have so much offensive talent still coming ?

I know everyone is ready to speed up the rebuild,
but we don’t wanna GMTM this thing all over again either

It would probably cost roster player + prospect + pick, unless the prospect is a roster player as well

Let’s say it was YOU making an ACGM….
Do you trade for Lindholm?
And who exactly would u propose to trade for him?
*assuming u did want him

I'm fine with the gmtm approach, albeit in moderation. Identify players that are difference makers that you need to win, then go get them. Lindholm would be a selke type center (like ror) that fills a large void.

Krebs + 2nd + Poltapov or other russian. That's should be 3x B prospects, with Krebs getting boost as local kid, who definatively is NHL roster player.
