Kuzmenko cant forecheck. And has bad habits on and off the ice. Much of his rookie season was powered by shooting luck and Pettersson’s greatness. Someone is gonna get ripped off in this trade cause I do think he’ll return decent assets.

I said before the season that Lafferty was a borderline top 6 guy and a top 5 PK guy in the league and he was worth a 2nd but if the Leafs made the wrong decision and he was a cap casualty he'd go to Van/Edm for a 5th.

I'm pretty sure you said the leafs would have to pay Van to take Lafferty in response.

I predicted Zadorov with no retention for 3rd, 6th and Abruzzese, I got laughed at when people said he was worth a 1st.

I said the Leafs should do Nylander for Boeser +++ and specifically said I think Boeser could score 40+ goals this season before it started cause I was the Leafs pro scout in western Canada and I thought he had a top 5 shot in the league. I was a huge advocate for the Leafs getting him to lineup two shot options Boeser/Matthews on either side for the PP. I was laughed at and told Boeser was a cap dump.
