ROUND 1TEAMORIGINALPLAYERDETAILS
1Logo of the Chicago Blackhawks-
Macklin Celebrini
San Jose: Add best player that can form a 1-2 punch with Will Smith
2Logo of the Anaheim Ducks-
Artyom Levshunov
Buffalo: Add another big defenceman... but this one is a right shot. Would make Buffalo ' arguably the envy of the league
3Logo of the Columbus Blue Jackets-
Sam Dickinson
Chicago: Focuses on their backend by adding a two-way guy that can help a team that has young studs up front, but could certainly use another high-end defenceman.
4Logo of the San Jose Sharks-
Cole Eiserman
Anaheim: They can add a player with possibly the highest offensive upside in the draft
5Logo of the Montreal Canadiens-
Konsta Helenius
Columbus: I'm expecting a big WJC from Helenius. Could see him being even higher by June
6Logo of the Arizona Coyotes-
Ivan Demidov
Seattle: Kraken could use a game-breaker; Demidov could be that guy
7Logo of the Philadelphia Flyers-
Cayden Lindstrom
Minnesota: Lindstrom another guy I think could definitely continue to rise. Would be perfect in Minny however
8Logo of the Washington Capitals-
Berkly Catton
Calgary: Catton can be a key offensive piece as Flames transition to a younger team
9Logo of the Detroit Red Wings-
Adam Jiricek
Pittsburgh: Gives the Pens a high-end D prospect as Letang and Karlsson age out
10Logo of the St. Louis Blues-
Trevor Connelly
Montreal: Habs could definitely use another forward with top-six potential
11Logo of the Vancouver Canucks-
Anton Silayev
Ottawa: A 6'7 defenceman could be gone by this point, but the Sens snag him if still available
12Logo of the Arizona CoyotesLogo of the Ottawa Senators
Tij Iginla
Edmonton: This feels illegal
13Logo of the Buffalo Sabres-
Ryder Ritchie
St. Louis: Feels like a Blues player
14Logo of the Pittsburgh Penguins-
Zayne Parekh
Chicago (via Tampa Bay): Continue to address the blueline, this time one with more offensive flair
15Logo of the Nashville Predators-
Michael BrandseggNygaard
Carolina: Would fit perfectly with Rod's system
16Logo of the Calgary Flames-
Liam Greentree
New Jersey: Gives NJ more size up front
17Logo of the Detroit Red WingsLogo of the New York Islanders
18Logo of the Winnipeg Jets-
19Logo of the Chicago BlackhawksLogo of the Tampa Bay Lightning
20Logo of the Seattle Kraken-

No way Chicago drafts another left handed D man...they are loaded with talent on the left starting with Korchinkski and Vlasic locked for the top 2 spots for years to come

Ritchie may feel like a Blues player, but they will almost certainly take a D (or trade for one) with that pick.

100% agree! It would have to Be Eisserman! Him with Bedard would be scary good paired with a big RW who can pass.

If the Sharks and Hawks land 1 and 2, it will be interesting to see if the Sharks take Levshunov over Celebrini. Either way, these are the picks that could go 1 and 2 if the lottery holds the Sharks and Hawks in that order. Hawks could use a top line RHD prospect (just not LHD). If I'm the Sharks with the #1 pick, I would have a hard time deciding between the two.

It’s easier to find good top 4 D in the 8-20 range of most drafts and if you develop them well you’re good, it’s much harder to find elite 1C past the top 5. For me it’s Celebrini 1 by a solid margin followed by Levshunov.
Just think a top line of Eklund Celebrini Smith would be fire!

Top 4D sure, but a #1 D especially on the right is very difficult to find. If it was Bedard (generational) vs. Levshunov (first liner locked and ability to be elite #1) that's easy...Bedard all day, but Celebrini is not at Bedards level obviously. It's honestly a tough decision from my point of view.
