Nylander's a UFA Winger looking for $10mil/yr+ while Andersson's a 1RD playing at Double his current Cap Hit for 2.7 more seasons.... I wouldn't Trade them straight up.

Andersson is useless to us, We don't need offensive defensemen and especially not on the right side. additionally markstrom having one good career season behind a fantastic team+defense is meaningless considering his higher cap hit and way more history of being streaky and at times straight up bad, also, hes hurt.

I wouldn't Trade them Straight Up unless Nylander came with a 4-6 year contract for less than $8mil/yr, which ain't happening and I still might say no, because Centre's and RD's are far more valuable and needed than Wingers, especially those exiting their Prime Years. We'd be much better off finding or drafting and developing the next Nylander than letting go of Andersson, who's likely our next Captain and should be with us for the next 10+ years...

Andersson doesnt hit, 12/14 of his giveaways this season are in the defensive zone and has an on ice goals and expected goals % of 48.5% so why exactly would we trade liljegren and nylander who are both crucial players for over 10m in cap in players we dont need at all

Andersson isn't paid to hit lol, he's paid to play Defense, Kill Penalties, Produce Points and QB the Power Play.... He's a 2-Way Defensemen, not just an Offensive Defensemen. He's having a rough go on the Power Play and Playing for what most consider a Crappy Team this season, so yeah, his underlying stats aren't going to stand out or be that great. How about the seasons prior though!? You think at 27, he's fallen off or something lol, do you even ever watch him play!?

There certainly has to be a reason CapFriendly has Andersson rated as an 87-P1 compared to say, Reilly's 84-P2, no!?
