but why

Because Blues fans love to irrationally eat their own over imagined transgressions.

He’s selfish. He’s overrate. Berube did more for this franchise than he’ll ever do. F him.

Considering both those players aren’t resigning in Calgary, don’t think it is. He’s always been a selfish player. He’s now a really disliked selfish player so you can say it’s an overreaction but it is what it is…

I just don’t think they had agreed on certain ideals for the team. It’s not the first time a player and a coach had disagreements. I don’t think it means either person is in the wrong, moving forward is the best thing for everyone involved. Clearly management did not think Berube was doing it

Send Kyrou to Ottawa and bring Tkachuk home.

Flames pass. Kyrou still doesn't solve the Flames #1 issue when moving Lindholm. They need a legitimate 1C

Tkachuk is way better than Kyrou and Chychrun is way better than Parayko. How does that offer make any sense for the Sens?

Maybe Berube should try not being a jaggoff to his players. It’s clear to see why he has such a kinship with St. Louis fans 😂

The winning players on the Blues love Berube. Maybe you shouldn’t comment on stuff that you clearly don’t know sheet about…

The specific comment was blown into something that it really wasn't. I am ashamed of the way the fans treat Kyrou last night. Ridiculous to call yourself a fan and then go boo a player like that.

For crying out loud, what Kyrou said wasn't even that bad.........He clearly wasn't jiving with Berube's message anymore. Happens to LITERALLY EVERY COACH THAT HAS EVER EXISTED. Not to mention that literally every coach whose won a cup, has been fired.

Like if those fans were just annoyed by it, fine but going as far as to boo the player.... that's kind of weird actually. Kind of an over the top reaction to such a mundane thing.

To not show respect to a coach that won the first cup in team history is the epitome of how Kyrou is viewed by many. The fans should be ashamed is laughable. Kyrou now has the reputation of a coach killer. Can he fix it, yes. But to say fans don’t have the right to boo someone who does not bring it every night, has played selfishly many times in his career, and then showed no appreciation to a coach that got fired who is highly liked and respected in the market is comical.

Respectfully, I think it is selective hearing to say that Kyrou showed no appreciation. Post game he did say he respected Berube and the original comment came from a private interview with JR where Kyrou just simply denied to make a comment about the situation. (Proabably wanting to avoid this type of overreaction.) Critique Kyrou's at times lacksadaisical play, but don't boo a guy who obviously wants to play for this team.

The simple fact is that as a fan, you can critique players and staff all you want, but at the games you put that aside cheer for the players. Once you stop supporting you can't consider yourself a fan.

Don’t boo a guy who got a lay up question about a coach who is beloved that got canned and instead decided to show the same immaturity and lack of self-awareness that has been criticized in the past…ok. And yes post game he said he respected Berube and came to tears…that’s after the fact…

He was asked what their relationship was like, which may not be a lay up question. It's not unlikely that they may not have been on good terms, so refusing to comment was probably the most professional option. If I were Berube, I would respect that more than saying things were peachy if they weren't.

My initial comment was painfully accurate, and we all know it. We could list previous whipping boy names all day. Including HOFers and members of the first Blues team to win a Cup. Which was a whole four years ago. Why would you pretend I'm lying? You may as well insist the sky is orange.

There is nothing wrong with booing a player or team. This is in line with Leafs fans saying the Isles fans were classless for not cheering Tavares on his 1,000 point. The word fan comes from fanatic and without that passion this league isnt a billion dollar business. The rest is simply word salad. The team is awful and the fans passion is NOT just coming for Kyrou but he's being used as the scapegoat which has been a thing for a long time among other fan bases
