I think you’re a touch light switch the 2nd to a first maybe add a 3rd

Kuzmenko isn't really a need for Calgary. They have a plethora of wingers at the moment, and his stock is falling.

Calgary can wait it out and get a higher return selling then individually

I don't disagree with you, but getting a former 35+ goal scorer. As well as the canucks highest rated center prospect should make things close, I could see swapping the second rounder for a first or adding in a third rounder as well.

Both teams decline.
I would rather trade Tyler Myers, Aatu Raty, and a second-round 2025 pick to Calgary in exchange for Chris Tanev ($2,250,000 retained).
Would this trade work?

I would say that's more in line with what they could get separately. Ideally, Calgary could put Kuzmenko on the PP and try and up his value before the deadline.

That's a good looking trade, although I would prefer a D prospect rather than Raty. Either of Wallinder or Brzustewicz would be great, obviously, but I don't know what Canucks fans' appetites are for trading those guys. Vancouver certainly has the goods to trade for Tanev and Lindholm if they really wanted to.
