Two mid firsts for hart isn't gonna happen. Pegula isn't gonna retain for multiple years, and honestly even at 6 million, I don't see anybody paying a first. I like the Seattle trade. Not sure evans does much for the Sabres.

1st trade never happens because Pegula is cheap and won't retain. Wouldn't do the 3rd and the 4th won't happen because the 1st one won't. Like the Seattle trade

Why do the Leafs need / want Skinner, even retained Skinner? We’re looking for D

Out of curiosity, what do you think Skinner at 6m for 3 additional years would get in trade?

Sorry to come off like a jerk, just don’t like these moves at all
@Sabres89 summed it up pretty well imo

No interest in Hart, & especially not at that price

The Skinner trade makes ZERO SENSE at all

Don’t hate the Seattle trade, but don’t “love” it either

Bottom line, all we need are a few tweaks, not these big deals
Whether us fans like it or not, trying to speed up the development of this team by making major deals is a bad idea

I’d bet the Sabres have learned their lesson when they tried to do this with the Eichel/Reinhart core- and FAILED MISERABLY

I honestly couldn’t tell you, but Leafs would have zero interest. We score enough goals - it’s D we are looking to upgrade. I can’t see Slinner being moved without significant retention and I can’t see Sabres (or any team) retaining big $ for multiple years.

The Evans trade is fair but I don't think it will happen. Evans is a guy draft at Montreal and he has been around forever so it's just weird to see him in a another franchise.

Not just that, why would the Habs even trade him? He’s a perfect bottom six center. Fast, good defensively and wins faceoffs. Not to mention one of our top penalty killers, a third gives us what? A %15 chance at a future NHLer? No thanks.
