I hate Schmidt contract and would rather have a good middle 6 C till Smith (or potentially Celebrini/ Lindstrom) are NHL ready! Assuming 25/26 which is perfect as that’s the end of Granlund contract.

The 2nd makes me seriously consider though!

I can't see Chevy buying high on a player that started the year as a cap dump after a short period of good games. There's just no reason to consider bad trades at this point for Winnipeg.
