Grubauer, Eller, Lucas Johansson, and a 3rd. Stick Wayne with Andre and Kuznetsov and have the best top 6 in the NHL.

I bet they would haha. Drouin for Ghost? That's really the only thing I could see. They don't have anything to get Coots that helps the Flyers.

Simmonds must be on one of the top 3 contracts in the league that isn't an ELC. If Schenn nets two firsts and a 3rd line cap dump player and the supposed asking price for Duchene is a bluechip defensive prospect, a 1st and perhaps a decent roster player, then you have to be looking at al least those amounts considering he's a two time 30 goal scorer in his prime on a steal of a contract.

To be honest I'm not sure there's a team that could (and would) make a reasonable offer from a feasibility perspective. It'd have to be a team in win now mode that has some cap space. I'd earmark Montreal, the Islanders, San Jose, Columbus, and Minnesota. I'm not an expert on each of those teams but there's not too many that would give up a young established NHL player I'd think.

Montreal is perhaps the most obvious fit in that they're in dire need of goals (but also centres) and the obvious pieces would be something like Juulsen, a 1st and probably Galchenyuk, but considering Galchenyuk is probably close to emulating Simmonds if he stays as a winger I'm not sure if that's a stretch. Maybe just Galchenyuk and Juulsen? Either way I'd be hard pressed to make that deal from a Canadien perspective and I think it's probably fair.

Maybe the Islanders could be convinced to give up Barazal and one of their firsts if it meant potentially keeping Tavares. Maybe the Jackets might move Ryan Murray (who's now buried on the blue line and could do with a change of scenery - I'd imagine as part of the rumoured Duchene trade) with Dubois (and a first?). It all depends how much the win now teams want to win now.
