i remember this summer when devils fan were like ” vanecek is going to do the job just fine we don’t need saros " and " bahl is going to replace severson/graves we don’t need another dmen"

We are 15-6 when Vanacek starts.

(Also, it was our GM who said Bahl would replace Graves minutes…it’s Sevo and Dougie that we miss).

Take out McLeod…we have nothing like him to replace. Would leave a hole in our lineup…and not really a need for Anaheim.

I could live with Holtz as centerpiece if we added a forward elsewhere and they retained. But he has another year on ELC, so doubtful he would be there.
