Both these guys are ideal fits for VAN and Kuzmenko salary is a direct salary swap in costs, getting Savard might let them trade Myers and fits another top 4 RHD with another year

The MTL-VCR trade rumour is completely fake and bizarre, and Kuzmenko isn’t going anywhere.
Kuzmenko is a keeper.
Vancouver has no interest on Maroon and Bogosian.
Penguins should Reilly Smith instead of giving him away.
I don’t know if the first trade would work for the Leafs.

Habs can't retain on both they only have 1 retention spot left for this season. don't think they will have much interest in Kirill either there is a back log on the left side of the defense in montreal. I'm sure they have interest in buying low on kuzmenko, and I think there could be truth to the rumours Vancouver scout was at the montreal/florida game the other night.

Trades dont make sense. For example your trading Myers and retaining $2M while giving up a 3rd and a 5th assumably to clear cap. Then you spend Kuzie and a good young prospect to get Savard who is slower and not nearly as good for only a saving of $500K? Savard makes $3.5, plus the $2M you retained = $5.5M, and we are stuck with him for 2 years instead of only 1 with Myers. I guess you get Monahan whos a UFA, and will walk at the end of the season. Yikes!

leafs will never take myers

There's nothing here for Montreal simply because they don't need a 2 year rental (Kuzmenko). They might be interested if he had more term or team control, but pending UFAs are a non-starter.
