Habs pass once again.

Business with an Arch-rival is expensive... really expensive.

Although I agree that the Habs don't take this deal, do you not find it impressive that the Leafs could trade four draft picks, and not one of them was originally theirs?

Hughes laughed Treliving off the phone and just before he hanges up Hughes tells Tre to lose his number! The counter proposes Nylander for a 7th and laughed harder

What I think is hilarious is that so many Leafs fans are wanting Savard + Monahan yet none of them are offering enough to get either one on their own

Ha! You've been here for over 5 years, have you ever seen a Leafs fan offer enough in a trade to actually get the player they want?

Some yes, they are few and far between though

Edit** @Someonesoffended and @TMLbrian are usually two of the more realistic Leafs fans on here, so they tend to be fairer

You consistently say no to any trade involving any leaf. It's pretty clear you are letting your personal bias against TO get in your way. Getting Robertson who's been good this season for essentially nothing is a good plan.

Ok, I agree on those two, although I think they're both closet Canucks fans.

I have not a single thing against Toronto big fella

Trading major assets for Nylander makes no sense for us
Trading Gibson to Toronto ain’t happening because he has already said he won’t play in Toronto
Verbeek has a type and it’s the opposite of mini Robo — proof is in the pudding, check out all of Pat’s draft picks along with what he has said he wants to bring in

Canucks easily decline. They aren't giving up 2 1sts plus Mikheyev for 4 months of a rental Nylander. No rental gets that kind of return.

Value for Nylander makes sense but I don't think Canucks are in a position to give up that much capital. They can't afford to re-sign him and need the upcoming Willander/1st.

I disagree. The value is pretty close to what Horvat got. Willander is a much better prospect than Raty but Willy is considerably better than Horvat.

Canucks just not in a position to give this much up - especially without the room to re-sign.

Nylander to the Leafs?
Like the idea, but it’s an easy pass for the Canucks.
No thanks.
