As said somewhere else. Toronto would rather wait to see if Samsonov can clear his head. (Way better potential over Allen) but his lows (way worse than Allen). If they can't clear his head,, this trade could work depending o value Montreal sees

The last thing the Kings need is RHD. Why would they give up their best forward prospect for an over the hill RHD on the decline?

Canucks pass imo. Monahan isn’t a big enough improvement over anyone in the top 6, and our 3rd line has been one of the best lines in hockey this season so it’s not getting broken up, meaning there’s a decent chance he’d end up on the 4th line. If the Canucks add someone I think it should either be a bonafide top 6 player (like Guentzel) or someone who would be a cheaper acquisition cost than a 2nd

Kovacevich is an interesting player, but with Benoit playing so well for us - and assuming Tre is making a deal for a RHD to play with Reilly - not really required. That extra year on Allen’s deal makes him unmovable imo

Jacob Perreault or a 2nd round pick
But ANA 2nd round pick would be too high so can’t see them offering that
Perreault was a former 1st round pick so I don’t think they would move him either
I don’t think they are good trade partners
