Swap Sanhiem for the 7th and you got a deal. A bad contract, a decent prospect, and a worthless draft pick ain't gonna do it. That being said, I like Duchene to Philly and they have the defensive assets to get a deal done.

That Duchene trade is completely terrible on Colorado's side. It would be fine if you replace Duchene with Yakupov.

This deal makes no sense from the Avs perspective. None of the current assets from Philly for Duchene have any trade value and the pick is an absolute long shot. If you want to pry Duchene from Sakic, it will take Provorov, Konecny, and a 1st. Not that I think Duchene is worth that, but that's what you're looking at price-wise.

VGK are holding on to Schmidt, an it would cost more even if they wanted to move him

Haha I hope that's a joke. Duchene couldn't net Provorov straight up. Realisticly it would probably be something like Sanheim, 2nd or 1st, and Filp. That's a fair deal. Provorov is worth about 5 Duchenes so slow down there bud

You wouldn't get Provorov alone for Duchene.

I wouldn't even do Sanheim straight up for Duchene. He's going to be a good one.
