Zegras isn't worth 3x1st because:

1. Only Gretzky was worth that;
2. Anaheim's own GM doesn't trust his longterm contribution.

Remove Reinbacher and maybe, depends where that pick falls.
Nobody is giving up two top 10 picks for him.

Zegras is flashy he's not high end. he needs to stay in the US with a market that needs to sell tickets he's not a guy that wins you hockey games.

More accurate than most of your Habs brethren.

Zegras isnt high end talent

Then neither is Nick Suzuki.

Zegras' first two seasons:
2021-2022 : 75 games, 23 goals, 38 assists = 61 points
2022-2023 : 81 games, 23 goals, 42 assists = 65 points
Suzuki's third and fourth seasons:
2021-2022 : 82 games, 21 goals, 40 assists = 61 points
2022-2023 : 82 games, 26 goals, 40 assists = 66 points

That's a fair comparison. My hope would be for Zegras to be similar, though both have potential to go higher.
They can both create with their skill. Suzuki is ahead in rounding out his game and has shown improvement in the dot this season (thank you Monahan and Dvorak).
If Zegras can improve there I'd even be okay if he only grew offensively.
