I always call out bad penalties regardless if it’s the rangers or the opponent. But that game was actually mind blowing how many little things the Canes got away with

And I’m not saying it’s the reason the rangers lost, because the rangers just flat out sucked

That was a badly officiated game. PK also decided to play up to his sky-high potential

They would be bad. Which is why I do not want to trade either Nico Hischier or Jack Hughes

It literally isn’t even the same concept lmao were talking about giving a massive contract to one of your best players at age 29 vs age 21

Right out the gate they called “interference” on Laffy and I knew that set the tone for a bad game. It is what it is. Canes dominated

I don't deny that the contract will probably suck by the end of it. Just like Zibenejad, kreider, Trochek etc all probably will be ugly deals by the end too

But if you want any chance of winning a cup in the next 5 years it will be because Igor Shesterkin dragged you there kicking and screaming. And if you try and sell him with 1 year left on his deal the return will be limited because he will be a rental (the same thing Winnipeg found).

          Pick your poison

          That makes total sense
          BUT
Why would another team trade for him?
And especially why would they give up all those good assets to do so???

Not to mention, goalies don’t get traded for packages like u suggest

Too much for Detroit. Doesn't make sense for 'em, either.

No from Detroit. Defense needs to get better before before that kind of move gets made.

Not a chance is hell Detroit does that.

I know they don’t, which is why I said they aren’t ready for moves like that.

The rangers have constantly turned “nobody” goalies into quality starters, hence being able to trade him (Hank, Georgiev, Talbot, Igor, Quick at 37, etc.)

They have the best goalie coach in the league so they can turn whoever they get into a quality starter while focusing on upgrading offense and defense

Challenge accepted. Buffalo will gladly trade you the rights to Eric Comrie in return for Shesterkin. That oughtta save the Rangers some money. Good luck.

Acting like Igor is just some regular goalie you could trade for is wild…

Making a trade proposal of pure dog**** is even more wild
