NYR would be foolish to trade Bonino. He doesn't make any sense in the trade for OTT either. Bonino has been solid defensively, penalty killing, face offs, etc. I think it's a rare mistake for Lavi to keep playing him as 3C. That should either be Goodrow or Brodz there. Bonino isn't going to score many points, but that isn't his job. I gotta be honest, if it was between the two, I'd rather have Bonino. When healthy and chemistry is clicking, NYR have enough offensive weapons. Bonino is going to win you games in the post season

Bonino has one goal all year. He may have played in every game too. I get what you’re saying but they could find someone infinitely better. He’s done. 5 years ago Bonino sure, but it’s not 5 years ago

The second rder doesn’t interest you? Im not sure he gets you a first, conditional one at best probably

Rangers got him last year for a conditional first and C prospect

Who, at 800K, that wouldn't cost any assets to attain?

Pointing out his lack of offense when I already addressed that in my comment is pretty hilarious as well...

A 2nd and a mid range prospect would be fair. Bonino is a UFA and not someone who’d be brought back to this team.

Why do we need him? A prospect is far more beneficial than a random throw in. I’m not talking about a major prospect either.
