Edmonton declines. Good chance Stars do too. They'd be fools to trade one of the best, if not the best, player in the AHL this season for a rental.

I understand for Dallas but for Edmonton, what would you change?

Edmonton declines because they don't have any need for Savard and Pezzetta. We have a need for a top 4, RH dman, and I don't see Savard as that player. 33 years old and he has horrible analytics. He can be a third pairing dman for us, but we have Desharnais, who's been playing very well at a fracation of the cost.
Oilers need more scoring on their bottom 6, and Pezzetta doesn't provide that.

How much for Pezzetta alone? A 5th?

5th or 6th not a high value.

I'd offer a 5th for him. He seems like a solid 4th line/extra forward to have going into the playoffs. I'd prioritise adding a bottom-6 C, though.
