two third liners that dont know where the defensive zone is, one massivly over paid and the other that can only score on a power play he wouldnt see in toronto and a bad 3rd pairing defender who cant defend or score and the leafs give up a better forward and a better defender
wow that's bad, even for the regular bad trades people put here for those players to the leafs

Lol TML fans are funny.

No one wants to pay for your bottom 9 placeholder you use to ice a full roster and to rest your top 6 between shifts.

Doubt if the Oilers have the cap or the desire for trade of exchanging Dmen
IMO the Sens trade is fair
But that Habs is really one side for the Habs. Jarnkrok certainly is a good as Anderson and a lot cheaper. Holmberg is cheaper and looks like he can a good NHL regular.

Weird thing to say about your own players, but its nice to hear an accurate evaluation of anderson from a habs fan for once

Toronto has nothing interesting to offer, or any motivation to add at TDL.

Swallow the pill folks, just another year with a quick exit.

Anderson has so much negative value you’d have to give us Monahan for free and savard doesn’t net lily sorry to burst for fairy land bubble

no you've got the sign pointed the wrong way, it means greater than, not an arrow pointing to the better player. Nice to see you were consistently right though even if you got the symbol wrong

If our players have so much low value then WHY TML FANS CAN'T STOP MAKING TRADES TO ACQUIRE THEM!? (keep your crap, we'll gladly keep our "negative value")

You're such a troll.

I’m not a troll the troll is the leafs fan who trades for them and I have to tell them everytime that leafs decline but it doesn’t seem to stick, I’m sorry if that offends you but I’ve never made a trade for them

Sure let me check...

SUPERSTAR Holmberg with a career high of 13 pts.
Järnkrok = slower, older and worse Josh Anderson - but 3M$ cheaper going to a team with 15M$ in cap.
Liljegren = a RHD that TML is trying to get rid of - not a good sign - all our RHD clear him - he would be on waiver by the end of the month.

Like none of these piece are an upgrade for the habs... they aren't even a lateral move. Monahan will reportely fetch a first round pick ( yeah yeah - remember Chariot?). I don't think the whole package you sent is worth a first.

Savard is a good vet who will be in demand for the playoffs, but we'll probably keep him.

Remember that your players are playing on a good team - their performance and look are inflated by that.

Holmberg has 4 points less than Anderson in 23 less games.
Jarnkrok has 3 more goals while playing mostly on the 3rd line with no power play time and is actually good defensively instead of a liability like anderson
the leafs are not trying to get rid of liljegren.
Savard is awful at everything, especially defence.
Remember that because a player is on a bad team and performing bad, it most likely means that they are also bad and a part of the reason that team is bad.

You got to admit that it's kinda weird that on one hand **some** leaf fan salivate when they see Anderson, Savard and Monahan, and on the other, they think they are trash.

In any case - habs are looking for assets like prospect and/or picks... not roster players of lesser or equal value. We are trying to clear rosters spot for prospect... not trying to replace them with a different face.

Anderson is not a good fit , with his cap hit, for TML who is in cap hell.

I think that Anderson is better than what he's been showing at the start of the season - he is a system guy - he works better when he doesn't have to think and just execute. Like I'm sure he would bounce back if he played under Torts again. MSL asks to much thinking from a powerhorse.

Savard is a shot blocking specialist and stay at home D who has NO business being on a top pair playing 22min a night. He's not that guy.

Anderson at the start of the year was lost.. he got 90% of his points in the last 23 games. He's a powerforward that's big and extremely fast - however, it's not working out in MTL with MSL's system (or lack thereof).

btw, the habs are 9 pts behing the leafs right now. And we don't have a generational goal scorer, two ppg winger, and a 2nd #1C. Half our top 6 is injured... and our scoring winger is slumping after an offseason shoulder surgery. Get Dach (lost him on game 2) and Newhook back and we are probably 1-2 pts behind or over the leafs.

ANYWAY - this trade is awful in everysense as its filling no needs or wants for any side.

blocking 100 shots a game because you help allow 1000 a game when your on the ice doesnt make you a specialist. it makes you a shooter tutor.
Anderson is lost a lot, it's part of the reason he sucks so bad. Pierre Engvall was fast too, he also scores at a better rate and is significantly better defensivly too. But no one thinks he's amazing the way habs fans think anderson.
Oh wow, 9 points behind the leafs eh? So you're saying that the whole "players on better teams are inflated" means nothing? nice little tap dance.
