Pretty nice additions. Can the Ducks or Flyers get more from other teams??? But pretty fair offers.

im just basing it off what ive seen some ducks fans value him at which is usually a 2nd + young player for 50% retained.

unless theyve changed there mind on him atleast thats what they where looking for. and with the trade they get a servicable nhler in gregor who is an rfa and only 25 & alex steeves who could play in the nhl right now aswell as the 2 3rds + a 5th and i dont see how gregor fits into the leafs lineup anymore with the way robertson + holmberg have been playing

i think reason he was on top of trade bait board is because he wasnt getting played so they where probably thinking of trading him for a young defensemen in a similar position he was in but i dont see them moving him with the way hes been playing as of late especially if he keeps playing like that

if they do end up trading him a team i have a gut feeling who might try and acquire him is Pittsburgh, dubas drafted him and seemed to be high on him as a player and see a guy like rielly smith come back in return

Leafs wouldn’t take rielly smith for free lmao guy it’s a 3rd line player making 5M zero interest in him

obviously there would be salary retained, but leafs need depth scoring and he helps with that. he also just won a stanley cup and he produces in the playoffs and the leafs are going to need a guy like that

We still think that Henrique is worth a second plus a good prospect. Two thirds and a fifth don't have the same quality as a second, especially when one of the thirds is three drafts off and Anaheim has three thirds in this draft, including two in the first five selections of the round. Gregor is a bottom-6 forward, of whom the Ducks have more than enough, and Steeves doesn't appear to have that much higher a potential. The estimable @SomeonesOffended overstates the case by saying that we'd be insulted, but I think that we'd clearly decline. Besides, you need to keep as many minimum-contract NHL-viable forwards as possible.

It’s never gonna happen lol simply because marner isn’t waiving for the rebuilding pens but also it’s terrible value for Marner

Great hockey knowledge Henrique hasn't consistently played C in years. This is horrible.

Thanks for your bias input. Nothing makes me more factual that if I disagree with you. But nice you're still on what is your third name on CF, former Nucks executive, former Leaf exec, Florida exec. Gee you're going have more ex teams (in your mind) that Larry Hillman.
