    So ottawa is giving up their very likely high lottery pick, chych and Pinto in exchange for a worse and older LD, a worse and older C, an AHLer and a late 1st? Seems like a great deal.

    laugh Yeah there's zero chance of Krug waiving his full NTC for Ottawa or any Canadian team. He's basically has said that he will never play North of the border. When Armstrong tried to trade him to Philly and he vetoed it. it was basically reported as Detroit only or possibly Boston.

    I'm not saying it's a good deal or anything, but your recap of the trade is rather off. Just for starters, Ottawa is not giving up their own 24 1st - they're giving up Boston's.
