Ullmark and RNH both decline. So does Boston.

No reason for Edmonton to do that. They already have their starter in Stuart Skinner.

Nuge says no oilers say no I’m sure Boston would love this trade but easy no for the oilers

Why not? You get a top 6 C and yes I know u guys are loosing a Ullmark who’s the starter on 90% of teams but you guys have Swayman wouldn’t it be better to upgrade the C depth rather than having 2 starting goalies

Poitras is young, fits into their culture and a 2C for the future. Not an issue with Nuge's value it's just more that Boston has no reason to mess with their young core

And Edmonton has no reason to trade Nuge it would make our top 6 worse and Edmonton doesn’t need goalies anymore I think you and I both know that so also Edmonton is contending we aren’t making trades to make the future better lmao

Lmao yeah I don't disagree that Edmonton doesn't do this, Nuge is way more valuable to us than those two other pieces. Was just explaining why the Bruins wouldn't be super into it either, the time to win is now and we could grab a goalie probably around Ullmarks level in the offseason without spending assets

Bruins need cheap, young, talented players and they need to develop a top-6 center for the long-term. Poitras fits that to a tee

RNH is great, just a tricky player to give up a lot for given how tied to McDavid, Draisaitl and that PP he is. Pretty tough to project the type of player he'd be in the Bs system. Could he maintain a 20-25, 70ish point pace? Absolutely, I could also see him being a solid 55-60 point player, which I would not give up that package for

I get why EDM wouldn't do it, I also just wouldn't do it as a Bs fan

Nuge will never be traded. Oiler 4 Life.

We don’t need Ullmark. We have Skinner.
