Wild pass. Nothing interesting enough to part with a future top-6C, and a young 20g+wing.

You're ******* high lol. Stop sucking Niederreiter's dick. Pacioretty is miles better lmao. Habs would never do that deal anyway hahaha.

Patches is 4 years older and hasn't played much defensively since the last lockout. Nino is one of the best possession and 2 way players in the league who has gotten better every season. If you want to argue point totals, Nino's done more with his ice time (pts/60) than patches did by the same age.

Thanks for the feedback. I see this as a win-win for both teams. The Habs need to get a different mix up front to build around Drouin.

The question is a simpler one for the Wild: do they want to win or do they just want to compete? The Wild have never made it past Round 2 of the playoffs and have lost in Round 1 the last two years. With Koivu aging, Parise, Suter and Staal still near the top but declining, adding MaxPac at $4.5M for the next two years is an upgrade on Nino, who might become that competitive as he ages. Patches also will be affordable under the cap once Koivu moves on. Lindgren is a homegrown G with starter potential, which the Wild will need as Dubnyk ages and/or returns to his norm.
