I'm actually of the opinion that the D is not as bad a people think. We have gone basically past month a half playing the top teams in league and win most games or at least stay competitive. Just let the contracts expire. There isn't any rush.
But that’s 3-4 years away. That’s a long time to wait and they’re only going to get worse in the meantime. Maybe they don’t need an overhaul, but they tried to move out Krug’s contract and tried to add an upgrade in the top 4. It’s pretty clear they will continue to try to do that.
