I see what you’re trying to do, but you’ve failed. Value wise this is great for Montreal. The difference between Caufield and Pettersson is that Montreal isn’t going to trade Caufield. The Canucks might be forced to trade Pettersson because he might request to be traded.

That's Elias Pettersson the defenseman, a 3rd round pick from a few years ago, not EP40 lmfao

I don't think the Canucks do this, I have my doubts about Caufield thriving under Rick Tochett and the price is way too steep to gamble.

Please tell me you realize he’s trolling... 🤦‍♂️ He’s making fun of the Pettersson Montreal trade we were commenting on earlier (as noted in my original reply that you didn’t understand)

Obviously he wouldn’t trade this much for Caufield lol.

My point (the one you missed) is that in that other thread, Montreal is trading for a player who might actually be on the block this offseason (Pettersson) while Montreal has no plans to trade Caufield, and Caufield doesn’t plan on leaving.

Im prepared for you to completely miss the point once again lol.

He might be trolling but in my experience Habs fans tend to be dilusional and people out east don't give Pettersson the respect he deserves. Also if he intentionally put D Petey there this is actually a semi-fair trade.

Canucks fans are the 2nd most toxic fanbase next to Leaf fans. Always doom and gloom. Hell the only reason we’re talking about a Pettersson trade this week is because Legorocksgaming released a video about Pettersson and in the comments a ton of Canucks fans are actually saying they wouldn’t mind trading Pettersson because he apparently had a rough week or two lol. Wanted JT Miller booted a year ago, trashed Boeser among others for years. Such a depressing fan base.

You think other fan base are not doing the same ? Ask Jo Drouin how he feels now that he's not in Montreal and all the fan pression.

Of course they do. It’s more prevelant with Canucks fans, while having a smaller fanbase.. And while Drouin didn’t deserve that, he was given lofty expectations (and rightfully so) while his performance was mediocre to bad. Canucks fans do it to their stars.
