If EDM doesn't pay to dump him before the deadline, they are more than likely just going to buy out his contract. But if they do, for whatever reason, decide to dump him over buying him out, then this is what it should cost.

I don’t see why we can’t do this with Campbell, goalies are voodoo magic, so he could find his game here similar to Mrazek… if not then getting paid to backup the AHL isn’t a bad gig for him.

(2) 1sts is too much at this point. That was probably the ask originally because others were hoping EDM would panic, but they're back to being a really good team. I think they'll still give (1) 1st because it'll be a later 1st, but I don't see the other.

Don’t think they trade Holloway, and EDM being a good team again makes me more comfortable asking for two firsts. They have a window in which they can win, and when they sucked they probably did not want to give up a first that could be in the lottery.

They could choose not to move Campbell, and that’s fair but they are not being efficient IMO

Their window is several years long, more if McDavid and Draisaitl re-sign. They aren't giving up two 1sts when they can buy him out with a $1.1M penalty next year and an average of $1.75M over six.

Your ask might seem reasonable to you, but you aren't taking into account the other side.
