Kaliyev is a left shot and they probably want an nhler in a similar position with close upside in comparison

While neither has shown top-six potential yet, I’d think Beecher has a bit more value as he is more useful in a bottom six.

Why would LA give up a middle 6 forward for a guy that can't even crack an NHL lineup?

Neither player looks like a given NHL guy, but both have projectable skill. Really don’t have much interest in Kaliyvev. I always thought he was a right shot

Rather have Beecher.

B’s passed on Kaliyev for Beecher because of his work ethic and attitude. Nothing has changed.
