As much as you want Goodrow scratched, he wont be. Hes too good on the PK.

That is too hefty a price for Eberle, not interested.

Yea I know he’s a really good PKer, but Lavi has to see that he brings nothing else (just like Bonino)

Eberle is more of a placeholder. A 1st for a top line RW, whoever

To give up all that for a place holder is kinda terrible.

Doesnt matter how anyone feels about Goodrow, theyre not scratching him.

So you’re fine with rolling out the corpse of Wheeler? Lol

Or put Kakko back up too and trade like a 4th for Kubalik as 3RW or call up Berard

No, you bring back Tarasenko and call it a day. We know he has chemistry with Zib and Kreider.

Eberle literally has better underlying analytics than Tarasenko lol and Drury probably isn’t bringing back Tarasenko after last year’s lack of success

That has nothing to do with Tarasenko. The failure came as a result of piss poor coaching and game planning.

Youre looking at underlying metrics on one of the worst defensive teams in the league? We dont need Tarasenko to play defense, we need him to score goals and get Mika's line functioning again.

Having better Corsi For, Shots, xGoals For, etc. means Eberle is creating more offense lmao

Tarasenko wasn’t all that impressive last year, but for some reason Ranger fans are obsessed with bringing back formers (motte, Vatrano, Kane…)

Who wants Kane back?

I know Tarasenko works, I dont know if getting Eberle here will have chemistry with the guys.

Again, it’s not like Tarasenko was overly impressive. He was mainly with Panarin and Trocheck while Kane was with Kreider and Mika

Also, that trade for Novak, it might get us Sissons, but not Novak, he will prob get a 1st. The center market is so brutal every GM with an asset will milk whatever they can out of it. Id personally be fine with either.

Then I’d pay a 1st for him. Get first dibs on trying to re-sign him if chytil isn’t coming back

Then all the more reason to try and get Novak, see if he’s a good 3C and then hope to extend him 3x$3m

Metrics definitely say so, Id like to get him so Peca can work on his faceoffs because theres no chance Peca doesnt get a head coaching job next year.
