First trade doesn’t make sense. Veleno would be a nice depth piece and Walman is a stud, but Minten and that first have a lot of value to TOR whereas Detroit already has Danielson and Kasper on the way, in addition to Copp and Compher longer term.

Not needed for Detroit and seemingly the wrong pieces for Toronto to move on from Minten.

May be next year......try definitely not. Canucks pass. You might be better sending those guys to the AHL.

This trade would actually create a need for a player like Hanifin, but there is no way Toronto does this.

Neither does Detroit.

Walman > Liljegrean and we don't need Minten only the 1st rd pk is enticing to me.
