Caps pass. They need to get younger and faster. Maatta is the opposite.

Doubt Caps after interested in Maatta, at least for that.
LA wouldn't be interested in Fabbri and can't afford him.
Solid offer for Buch, Blues fans will say it's not enough. Do we really need him though? We have a really good offense.

STL probably doesn’t want LD prospects. Solid offer but they can get more and I’d want a 2024 first.

Yes we do. LHD is probably the most needed position for the Blues...

That's too much for Buch. He's a solid winger but Berg is NHL ready and Wallinder looks to be coming on nicely. Maybe this makes sense if Yzerman feels really confident about signing Hanifin.

Hopefully Yzerman takes literally anything for Fabbri - that's an important $4M off the books.

Exactly Detroit currently has 11 players with at least 10g and 20p and Kane is 1 goal away from being the 12th. Both Ghost and Seider are on pace 10 goals so Detroit could end up with 14 players with at least 10g and 20p.

Only problem I see with our offense is that you really need to look at it without Kane, considering he may be a Wing for another year, max, and definitely won't be a Wing when they're legitimately competing.

Is it that good without him? How effective is Cat without him? Can Raymond really be a top line winger? Etc, etc, etc.

Granted that William Wallinder is a LHS, But he's played his entire career on the right side and prefers it that way.

Kings don't need forwards, especially forwards with a $4 million cap hit on an underwater contract.

They have other players coming up and like Kane, Buch will be getting older and might want to test free agency.
Cat was very effective without Kane this year, at least from what I saw.

If you look at Kane’s scoring log 8 of his 23 points came off the PP.

5 of his 23 points were secondary assists but 4 of those came at even strength.

7 of his 9 goals came at even strength.

Kane has assisted on 3 goals scored by Debrincat and 2 of those were on the PP and 1 was a secondary assist.

Debrincat has assisted on 6 of Kane’s 9 goals, 1 of those was a PP goal and 1 was a secondary assist.

Before Kane joined Debrincat had 24 points in 24 games and 13 of those were goals.

Now Kane is a very good player and he makes any team he plays for better. So yeah I'd like to keep him but I think the team and Debrincat will be fine without him. Especially when you add guys Edvinsson, Wallinder, ASP, Berggren, Kasper, Danielson and Mazur. I'm not sure Kane remains a Red Wing past the up coming TDL.

Ah yes, my bad I got my positions mixed up. An upgrade over Leddy and Krug is needed as is a partner for Colt55.
