For fun - obviously wont happen

Description
This was just for fun **don't rip on me too hard lol**

Sharks get the 1OA pick and go crazy

This is kind of based on the assumption of this being a somewhat top heavy draft, where if we get a lot of 2nds or late firsts, it may make more sense to try to buy some established NHLers. Also, based on the fact that San Jose is not a "massive" market and needs to find some sort of identity for fans to make their way back to the rink. -- Financial

Also with the amount of cap space with couture retiring

Tried to make the trades somewhat fair, who knows if they are though, I do not even know if these players are up for grabs.

Also tried to only grab players who were 27 or below

Probably not enough for Chinakhov. Also he's just a good fit with Marchenko and Voronkov so doubt he'd be available anytime soon.

What do you think the asking prices are?

A single, high-end, young NHL forward. The Jackets would be losing a guy with 30 goal ability so they'd need someone with the same ability back or they'd need to be adding to Chinakhov to get someone better. They don't need multiple lower quality players and picks.

Makes sense, so they wouldn't be willing to sell him for let's say like 2 mid-late firsts? they looking for more of a swap?

In the scenario where he was available, yeah a swap is what they'd likely be looking for. They seem pretty set with him on the roster at the moment though. The Russian trio have made huge progress this year and are likely a big part of the team going forward.

It doesn't make sense for Edmonton to trade two 1sts with Campbell when they can just buy him out for fairly cheap in the summer.

Granlund and Benning aren’t a 1st and 2nd upgrade worth COL doing this trade. Granlund is stylistically skating wise exactly what RyJo is and that makes this a rather easy no.

Gushchin is nasty, He could be as good of a producer as Zegras so adding two 1sts is WAY too much

I'd rather have Thrun over Chinikov overall, nevermind add all that to it.
